Supercomputing India SCI2027
HPC, AI & Quantum Computing

Supercomputing India (SCI2027) is the flagship annual HPC conference, organised by leading HPC centres in India in collaboration with partners, and supported by the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) - a visionary initiative to empower India's scientific and strategic communities by establishing a robust indigenous supercomputing ecosystem. With the theme HPC, AI & Quantum Computing, SCI2027 aims to foster a collaborative HPC ecosystem across India and Asia, serving as a global platform for connecting thought leaders from academia, industry, and the public sector.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)

C-DAC is the premier R&D institution under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, driving innovation in HPC, Information Technology and Electronics. C-DAC was established in 1988 with the mission to build indigenous supercomputing capabilities, leading to the creation of PARAM 8000, India's first supercomputer. Since then, C-DAC has built multiple generations of supercomputers and continues to lead India's National Supercomputing Mission, alongside pioneering initiatives in Indian language computing, software technologies, applied electronics, and embedded systems.

National Supercomputing Mission (NSM)

The National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) is one of the most transformative initiatives in India's technology landscape. Jointly steered by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and MeitY, and implemented by C-DAC alongside the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the mission seeks to significantly enhance the nation's computational infrastructure and research capabilities by creating a robust, interconnected grid of high-performance computing facilities at premier institutions across the country.

Centre for HPC Upskilling & Knowledge-sharing (C-HUK)

C-HUK, established by C-DAC Bengaluru under the Human Resource Development (HRD) initiative of the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM), focuses on inclusive skill development in High Performance Computing (HPC) and allied emerging technologies. Targeting SC, ST, Women, and EWS candidates, C-HUK provides expert training in HPC, AI, Embedded Systems, and Cyber Security to build a skilled and diverse tech talent pool. Its programs include a comprehensive 6-month Advanced Certificate Course in HPC and 5-day Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), conducted in Bengaluru and the North Eastern region in collaboration with C-DAC's Centre in North East (CINE). Through the Blended Learning Programme (BLP), C-HUK delivers flexible, scalable content via the IEEE BLP Platform to learners across the globe.
